Golden Eagles

Today we have been using talk partners to find a name for our class bear. 

Her are the Golden Eagles ideas. 

The name will be announced later today when we have a vote.

We have been learning to orally segment and blend. 

We played a jumping game to help us sound out words such as hat, shell and pan. 

Then a little girl went on to write some simple words, WOW!

What fun the Golden Eagles have had today. We all participated in our first PE lesson. Please remember your child need PE kit every Friday. We have been trying really hard to dress and undress ourselves. Can you please let your child practise at home it is an important skills. Look at the different way we moved today. Can you think of other ways to move? 

Today we hav been learning a new story for our topic. The story is called The Little Red Hen. Today we have been practising using Pie Corbett action. They help us to remember the story. 

We have enjoyed repeating key phases and we all now remember some of the story. Why don’t you ask your child to tell you the story?
