Rainbow talk

This week in literacy we have been using our sense to extend our talk. We do this through Rainbiw talk. We have a special Rainbiw fan that helps remind us to use all of our sense. This week we have learnt the Rainbiw song and started to use our sense to talk about what we can see and what we can smell.

Can you use your sense? We also included feel (emotions) and think.

What can you see, smell, touch, hear, taste?

Careful counters

Today in our maths lesson we had to be careful counters. We had to help the Little Red hen share the food at her party. What party food do you like?

The Greens Windmill Nottingham

What an adventure the Golden Eagles have been on today! We have been to Nottingham to see how the Little Red Hen makes bread. We went up a real windmill and explored all the different steps needed to turn corn into flour. We then used the flour to make bread. After we had fun learning about different plants in the garden and we try some tasty apples. We finished the day being scientists in the science museum. Oh what fun! Ask your child all about  today’s visit.
