Golden Eagles

Today in PE we have been practising our hand eye coordination through parachute games. We had to work together to make the parachute go fast, slow, high and low. We then had to listen very carefully and switch places with our friends by running underneath the parachute. What fun! We then made a mushroom with the parachute by sitting under the parachute. Some of our children can now fasten their buttons, please keep trying to do this at home. 

What fun we have had celebrating Goldilocks birthday. We also had two birthdays in the Golden Eagles. We made cards for our friends. Can you guess how old Goldilocks is? 

Thank you for your kind donations for Children in need. The children have enjoyed dancing at the party and having yummy treats. We talked about how fortune we are and how important it is to think of others who have less than us. 

This week in maths we have been reading a story called George needs a hair cut. George is a giraffe and found it very difficult to have a hair cut because he was so tall. Kevin had to think of different ways to help. We have been helping George to find tall and short objects. We have also ordered the objects from shortest to tallest.
