Seebal’s homework

It was great to receive an email from Seebal’s mum today. She sent some pictures of some of the homework that Seebal has been doing. She has been learning about compound words and has had a go at writing some of them. I’m sure you will all agree that her handwriting and presentation is fantastic. Well done Seebal.

Collective worship with Reverend Pip

Today with Reverend Pip we talked about how Christians believe that God created the world. He talked to us about trees and how important they are for us. He asked us to look outside and see if we could find some autumn leaves that had begun to change colour.

Here are some that we found.

History day!

Today we have had a great day focussed on learning all about a significant event in History. We have been learning all about the Sheffield Blitz.

We learned about air raids and what people did when the siren went off. We pretended our tables were a Morrison shelter and practised taking shelter when we heard the air raid siren. Isaac was our air raid warden and he was checking to make sure that everyone was in a safe place.

Can you comment with any of the facts that you have learnt?

When did the Blitz happen in Sheffield?

Why was Sheffield a target for the Blitz?

What damage was caused?

It was great to see so much homework on Friday from the Golden Eagles. There is some great presentation in our homework books. Jessica did some great Maths work using what we have been learning in our Maths lessons. Well done Jessica.
