Morning Eagles,

Remember that from today you can now access virtual school – how exciting!This week you will be able to access daily Maths and English lessons for Year 1 that are delivered by myself and Miss Swales. For some of the lessons we will lead them and the others we have left tasks to complete. The maths meeting videos are repeated for 2 days but the main sessions and activities are different.

From next week you will also be able to access Science, History and daily phonics sessions. Most children in year 1 are on phase 5 but if you are unsure what phase your child is on then you can send me an email to check.

For all of the sessions, your child will need a pencil or pen and something to write on like a notepad or piece of paper. If you have a pencil then that would be better. Remember that books for writing in and pencils can be collected from school if you don’t have them.

Hi Eagles!

I hope you are all okay and are getting lots of home work done now that we’ve finished the Easter holidays!

I’ve had a very busy week with Miss Swales getting something really exciting ready for you on Monday so keep an eye out! I cannot wait to receive all of your fabulous work through our Year 1 email:

I also had a phonecall with Mrs Lomas the other day (because I miss her as much as I miss all of you!) and we both agreed that we are missing you all lots and hope to see you soon!

Happy Easter to everyone celebrating! 🐣I hope you are all safe and well.

I was bored this morning so decided to be a little crafty!

As you all know, I am a big kid and I love Disney, so I decorated some eggs as Minnie and Mickey Mouse! 🐭

If anyone else has decorated eggs this weekend then I’d love to see them! Or if you’ve been up to anything else exciting, then please let me know.

Hi Eagles!

I hope you have all had a lovely couple of weeks relaxing and spending time with the family in your homes! I would love to see what fun activities you have been up to! It’s very crazy to think I’ve not seen all of your lovely faces for 3 weeks now! It makes me very sad but hopefully I will see you all soon!

In RE you learned about Good Friday and Easter Sunday and this weekend will be when they are celebrated! If you can remember any facts about Easter then add a comment – I’d love to see how much you can remember!

Whatever you are doing, I hope you enjoy your weekend. I will be posting again next week, including some daily challenges and activities for you to try. For now, see if you can spot the Easter egg in the picture below! There are so many bunnies, but where is the egg?🤷🏽‍♀️
