We won the most step up points in September! To celebrate we chose to have a party. We have had a great time this afternoon. What a lovely way to end a long, busy half term!

Today we continued to work in teams passing the bean bags and balls to each other without using our hands.
Golden Eagles I loved the way you discussed as a team how you were going to pass the object around so each child got a turn.

This week we have been continuing our learning in Art. We can now identify the sky, ground and horizon in a landscape. Today we looked at some pictures of places in Sheffield and had a go at recreating it in our drawings. We tried to use the space accurately.
For PE today the Golden Eagles continued to work together through team games. Each child worked together to pass the tennis ball over their head and under their knees.

The Golden Eagles then continued to develop their tennis skills by balancing the tennis ball on the racket and using control to bounce the ball up and down on the racket.
Can you tell your parents, siblings or career how many times you bounced the ball on the racket without it falling onto the floor?
In pairs the Golden Eagles played a tennis game hitting the tennis ball back and forth to each other.
Wow what great tennis players we have in Year 2.
One day I will be coming to watch you all play at Wimbledon.
